A Japanese Folk Tale Comes to Life in Princess Cruises’ New Show
A Japanese folk tale comes to life in Princess Cruises’ new show The Secret Silk, featuring life sized puppets from our New York Creature Shop.
Creative Director Stephen Schwartz, the composer behind acclaimed musicals “Godspell” “Pippin” and “Wicked” worked with Creator and Director John Tartaglia, known for his roles in “Avenue Q” and “Beauty and the Beast” on Broadway to put a contemporary twist on the story of “The Grateful Crane.”
Tartaglia is also the creator of the hit series Splash and Bubbles, created at our Digital Creature Shop, which airs on PBS!
The cast of creatures ranging from a dragon to a fox, and plenty in between, can only be seen on Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess from mid February, and then on Island Princess in May 2018.
